The Centrale schools
Founded in December 1990, the Groupe des Écoles Centrale is composed of CentraleSupélec, Centrale Lyon, Centrale Nantes, Centrale Lille and Centrale Méditerranée, as well as Centrale Beijing, Centrale School of Engineering Mahindra University and Centrale Casablanca. These eight engineering schools share the same values, missions and vision of the future.
The main mission of the eight schools is to train multidisciplinary general engineers and doctors capable of responding innovatively to the challenges of our society. In France, the Groupe des Écoles Centrale graduates nearly 2,100 engineers every year. It meets the highest standards of academic excellence and research, supported by over 800 permanent teachers and researchers and no fewer than 2,000 external contributors.
